Meet The Team

Hi, I’m Tami. Co-Owner and Lead Event Designer of Side by Side Design. I am a mom to two girls (Joie – 5, Sadie – 3), total foodie and love visiting new restaurants in my hometown of Los Angeles and when I travel, can’t start my day without my cup of coffee, love to watch reality TV (everyone has their guilty pleasure), and I am the voice behind all of our social media channels. I started my work-life as an elementary school teacher and traded in summers off for running my own show in 2015. I absolutely adore creating new ways to help my clients celebrate their special occasions and bringing each vision to life!

Hi, I’m Lauren. Co-Owner and Lead Interior Designer of Side by Side Design. I have three girls (Ava – 9, Cara + Sienna – 7 yes, they are twins too), love ending my day with a good Netflix binge, visiting new places with great design, living a healthy life style, and strive to find a balance always between work and the other things that make me happy. I have been in the Interior Design industry since graduating in 2004, and it just keeps getting better! Creativity is where I thrive, and I love how each project gives me a chance to think outside of the box.

Hi, I’m Essence! A mom to one rambunctious little boy (Junior — 2). I was born & raised in midtown Manhattan, NYC but moved to Los Angeles with my now husband, after completing my ID bachelors in 2014. I’m a major homebody who loves to cook… and eat! With the little bit of free-time I have these days, you’ll find me on a walk with my son, at my happy place - Target or roaming the isles of the grocery store. My favorite part of what I do is seeing my drawings and ideas come to life!

Hi, I’m Annie! A Los Angeles native with Southwestern roots, one could say I am the quintessential 'California girl'. I love nature and being continuously active. I enjoy yoga, hiking, riding my dirt bike and camping under the stars. I am deeply inspired by my travels and appreciation of art, culture, architecture, and wellness, which I aspire to reflect in my approach and  designs. At Side by Side I have a passion for creating beautiful spaces that enhance our client’s personal style and taste.
